Everything about Air Stream totally explained
An
airstream is a relatively well-defined prevailing
wind, it's name given to a body of air, or air mass, that moves from its source region and brings the weather with it.
It can also mean the flow of air that's driven backwards by an
aircraft propeller, also referred to as a backwash, slipstream or any other uninterrupted stream or discharge of air.
Air that starts over the
Sahara stays hot and dry and can move to another region where it'll bring hot and dry weather.
Types of airstream
- A Jet stream is a high-speed high-altitude airstream blowing from west to east near the top of the troposphere and has important effects on the formation of weather fronts.
- An Air current is wind or air moving, sometimes with considerable force, from an area of high pressure to an area of low pressure.
